Singer-songwriter Sobae has dropped her new digital single “Good Luck” today, and You can appear in the upcoming music video!
The new track showcases not only Sobae’s signature silky vocals, but is poised to be a vibrant “summer banger to be warmly welcomed at beach parties and barbecues.”
Sobae co-wrote the Ty Dolla Sign, DJ Khaled inspired track with beatmaker Rise, who has previously produced tracks for artists including rapper Junoflo.
The lyrics that accompany the punchy melody are a witty clapback dedicated to an ex, and freely weave in and out of English and Korean, much like those of other Korean-American artists including DPR Live and Jay Park.
Sobae wants her fans to appear in the track’s music video, so if you’re one of them, here’s what you have to do:
WHAT: Send in horizontal (20 sec min) videos of you and/or your friends dancing, lipsyncing, singing, having a blast to your favorite parts of “GOOD LUCK”

Despite an unconventional path leading to her debut as a musical artist a year and a half ago, Sobae has already released four singles featuring prominent artists including Exy of Cosmic Girls, and has toured 20 U.S. cities with San E and Mad Clown, two of the biggest names in South Korea’s hip hop scene.
Sobae is based in Seoul and is a recurring guest host on shows with a broad international fanbase including Arirang and TBS. She has also been invited to be an MC and host for KCON 2019 in both New York and LA, and is poised to expand her career as a multifaceted entertainer.
