AOMG’s Hoody has released her new double single and music video ‘Golden‘ today. slom produced the two tracks that feature Jay Park and George respectively.
Disregarding genres, Hoody has been making trendy music and collaborating with many musicians, prominently GRAY, Cha Cha Malone, and Peejay.
The two tracks on her latest single are about two very different moments of love. Producer slom of Soulection and HOLOCOIN, who has worked with artists like pH-1 or Zion.T, produced both songs. He has previously worked with Hoody on the free track ‘Elevate‘, and remixed a few of her songs.
The title track of this single reminds of ’90s hiphop music with a strong drum beat supported by percussions and synthesizer sounds. The song ‘Why’ is the complete opposite: with spacious drum sounds and a dreamy synthesizer it expresses the sad moments after a breakup.
The dream team Hoody and Jay Park is at it again, and Jay does not forget to throw in lyrics referencing their previous collaborations ‘Solo’ and ‘All I Wanna Do’. Meanwhile, ‘Why’ features up-and-coming R&B singer George who has worked with Jinbo, Giriboy, Primary, Cosmic Boy, and more.
