SongRapper of Snipersound returns three months after the release of his second EP with a sweet new song and music video. ‘Be My (되어줘)‘ features singer-songwriter MNYL.
SongRapper was scouted by MC Sniper and released his first single ‘Mother (Feat. Jayvito)’ in 2013. So far, the rapper has released nine singles. His first mini album ‘The Locker‘ came out over a year ago and his second EP ‘계절적인‘ (lit.: seasonal) dropped in December.
This new single is about the sweet excitement of a man who experiences new feelings of love after a breakup. Singer-songwriter MNYL (read: Minyul) tops off the song with her dreamy but bright and refreshing voice. Produced was the duet by MC Sniper and arranged by Jongha Hwang, who worked on Bolbbalgan4‘s ‘First Love’.
Listeners will be able to relate to lyrics like: “Everything feels empty and I want to go somewhere,” or, “Let’s go in secret, leaving your annoying worries behind we’ll suddenly disappear from here.”
