Ghood Life Crew’s myunDo has dropped a new single today. badassgatsby produced ‘Rockstar with No Guitar‘ which features myunDo’s Gimchi Hill Gang mate Kidk Kidk.
Rock stars are cool. They are carefree and do whatever they want. Thus, they are sometimes treated like troublemakers or mavericks. myunDo‘s music style is similar. As you might know from his RGB mini albums, he does not like to be stuck within a specific genre but rather likes to go for whatever music style he feels like. In other words, he does not make the music you might expect from him or want to hear, some people might even say it’s no longer hiphop.
In this new song, he is a rock star without a guitar. Generally, a rock star is someone who makes rock music and is famous, but here myunDo focuses on the person’s attitude and coolness.
With the intention and wish to make his voice more important and influential, he chose the title “with no guitar.”
badassgatsby, who’s worked with myunDo on his RGB series, produced the beat on which myunDo lays his melodic rap. Plus a catchy hook, a rock-music guitar riff, and Kidk Kidk‘s tight rap.
