Kero One collaborates with Julia Wu on “24 Hours” single and MV

| , ,

Korean-American jazz hop artist Kero One has collaborated with singer Julia Wu on the single and music video “24 Hours,” which came out yesterday.

A rising Chinese star from Australia and a Korean-American jazz hiphop artist from California might be an unexpected pairing, but together their vibe is seamless. The song “24 Hours” was born when Kero One was in Taiwan in 2018, and after their show together, Kero played the track idea for Julia. Immediately Julia loved the funky summertime vibe. Eventually they wrote and recorded in a Taipei studio, inspired by old school 2000’s hiphop/R&B. In the song, one can hear Kero’s punchy drums, jazzy guitars and funky bass against Julias effortless vocals.
In the music video, directed by Kaley Emerson and conceived by Kero One, we see what happens in a span of 24 hours throughout Julia’s day. As she struggles to keep a particular boy out of her mind, is it fate or just her imagination that takes control?
