Six years after the release of his debut single, Busan-based rapper CRITIC has now released his first full-length album.

‘Blue Sunset‘ was made in the years from 2014 to 2016.

From his 2011 mixtape ‘Travel Man’ to ‘Blue Sunset’, CRITIC has been rapping only about his personal experiences and feelings and there is a simple reason for this: He wants to share his happiness with other people. He knows that music can have a very positive effect on the listener and realizing this power early on he has been trying to influence others positively through his own happy experiences.

While everyone is similar in their existence, their ego, daily life, emotions and thoughts, every one of us is like a flower that has its unique beauty. CRITIC dreams of being the butterfly who connects the flowers and helps new flowers to bloom.

This LP features jazz band Swallowtail Butterfly, whose leader CRITIC had been at one point, as well as producers MONOMAN, J.Lu, a l e x, 천지환 (Jihwan Chun), DJ MAD, Woogie, Jack Frost, Scarecrow Beats, and more. CRITIC also worked with different artists for the artwork of each track: KIMI & 12, Ohamking, HaiL, BEKEI KIM, MARVIN KIM, DOO HYEON KANG, SG, and photographers Gongjin Sah (사공진) and Mirae (미래).

As previously mentioned, each track of this album is based on an actual event. All those experiences and inspirations will be made into an essay book and later be sold together with the album.

A new morning: tracks 12-16
