Indie rapper Sleek Jeezy has released his third single. ‘DOWNTOWN NIGHT‘ includes two tracks that both feature Steel and were produced by Charcoal.
R&B artist Steel releases new double single ‘Leave Empty’
Steel of Oversoul has released his third single ‘비워줘 (Leave Empty)‘ yesterday with strong support by his Oversoul Crew mate Charcoal and Sleek Jeezy.
Steel debuted with the single ‘Venus‘ in August 2016. Last year in July he released his first mini album ‘Catch The Mood‘, and at the beginning of this year he has already released the single ‘Close To You‘.
Sleek Jeezy, who has worked with Steel since his debut, was in charge of this double single’s mixing and mastering, among other things, and rookie design team UT7,101 created the artwork.
The title track was produced by Charcoal of OVERSOUL and is a funk-based R&B song. It is about the beginning of a relationship and tells the process of two people getting to know each other better. The second track, ‘Chemical’, continues the story as the two people realize that they click really well, i.e. have great ‘chemistry’.

Steel releases second single ‘Close To You’
R&B/soul artist Steel of OVERSOUL has released his second official single ‘Close To You‘ today. He produced the song himself.
Flema releases second single ‘Nasty’
Rapper Flema has released his second single ‘Nasty’ yesterday which was produced by Steel of OVERSOUL Crew.
Flema debuted in July with the single ‘Got My Back’. For his new single he received support from Steel who produced the tracks and features on the title track, as well as from rapper and producer Sleek Jeezy who acted as sound engineer.
Unlike the previous single which was a fast-tempo ratchet track, ‘Nasty‘ boasts a minimal trap sound with sophisticated, classy characteristics.
With its jazzy sampling, ‘MUJI-T’ (lit.: plain t-shirt) brings in the trendiness and a vintage atmosphere. Its sound is as minimal and comfortable as a plain t-shirt.
The title track has minimal sounds too but includes an addictive bell-line that nicely accompanies Flema’s melodical rap and Steel’s fancy hook.

This album is Steel‘s second official release since the single ‘Venus‘ that was released in August last year.
‘Catch the Mood‘ features Charcoal of OVERSOUL and Sleek Jeezy who also helped with the engineering and producing.
