R&B artist oceanfromtheblue has released his new mixtape ‘LOVELIKEBOYZANDGIRLS‘ today. It features amongst others Khundi Panda, FR:EDEN, SLCHLD, Keebomb, and Hunny Hunna.
oceanfromtheblue releases debut EP ‘Luv-fi (2018)’ and ‘Super Mario’ MV
oceanfromtheblue (previously known as ‘OCEAN’) has debuted today under Milliaround with the mini album ‘Luv-fi (2018)‘.
Two years ago, OCEAN first started recording music. Until now, he has made over 100 songs and has gained a great amount of avid listeners.
With this debut album, he is changing his name to ‘oceanfromtheblue‘, a phrase that he says represents him better. The album is, as the title suggests, made up of lo-fi music. Its characteristic warmth goes well with the artist’s voice and makes the songs a great listen during a walk, on the subway, or before going to sleep.
Most tracks were produced by GILLA, also one by OPO and one by medici. Fans of OCEAN will already know most songs in their original version from SoundCloud where they can still be listened to.
oceanfromtheblue writes: “I have received the help of many people for this album […], so I hope that [with my music] I can be of help to someone in some way as well. I think that art you do on your own isn’t art. Its real value is based on how it resonates in people’s hearts. This is the kind of artist I want to become. I love you, thank you.”

FR:EDEN releases double single and music video ‘If You Can’t Fall Asleep’
FR:EDEN returns with his third single ‘If You Can’t Fall Asleep (잠이 안온다면)‘ and its title track’s music video. The two songs were produced by his IIVI Crew mates OPO and GILLA.
Rheehab releases new double single ‘Toy’
Following up his successful debut album ‘Rehab‘, Rheehab returns with another double single, ‘Toy‘, featuring fellow crew members Ocean, SLCHLD, and GILLA.
Never at a loss for material, the rapidly rising singer/rapper/songwriter Rheehab returns less than two months after his debut with another double single. With these new tracks, Rheehab deliberately puts his artistic side forward and breaks any conception of being just a commercially-minded artist.
This single features production from the same composer of Rheehab’s ‘whatchaname‘, Gilla. Vocalists and fellow crew members Ocean and SLCHLD also contribute their sultry voices to the album, bringing the dynamics of the music to another level.
