tuifu – HiphopKR

Rapper Tuifu and producer vinternoon are the duo uncoolclub of Link6. Their first full-length album ‘Diorama of Life‘ contains jazz hop tracks with featurings by Dopein, Rick Bridges, Thursdyy, and more.

Producer vinternoon recently co-composed Rick Bridges’ debut single ‘OUTRO‘. Together with rapper Tuifu, vinternoon founded ‘uncoolclub’: “Before, jazz artists’ skills would be measured by the clubs they played in. I’ve learned that those clubs together made up a whole street.”

Tuifu comments: “I put a lot of effort in this album with the goal to include only my own stories in it. As me and my friends neared twenty years of age, some gradually became adults and I found myself drifting apart from them. The album contains my worries and difficulties with that situation, but also the will and hope to overcome it. However, not only musicians can relate to the lyrics. I also rap about the person I was before becoming a rapper, my thoughts and feelings at the time, which are something any young person can find themselves in, gain strength and hopefully the drive to keep going forward. This is the reason why I made this album …”
