In this track, Sway D raps about his immature young self asking his mother to buy him a ‘G-Shock‘. As the grown-up he is now, the rapper expresses the feelings that come up in him when he looks back on the innocent child he once was.
The song is very different from Sway D’s previous releases, especially the personal lyrics. The piano melody and strings add to the emotional atmosphere. Plus, the music video watches like a drama and perfectly matches the song’s story.
Just like the robot-looking watch, Sway D changes his music style time and again. End the year with a throwback to beautiful memories.
