Urban/R&B singer-songwriter Sophiya has released a new digital single yesterday, titled ‘FYRE‘.
In 2012, Sophiya gained second place on MBC’s ‘Star Audition: The Great Birth 2′. She has since released many singles, participated in several OST’s, and has worked with Kpop artists like Girls’ Generation, Sistar, Twice, T-ara, Eric Nam, Apink, or BoA.
After ‘For The Record‘, Sophiya once more joined hands with producer Distract. The song with its urban/trap beat and addictive hook demonstrates the singer’s style even more clearly.
‘FYRE‘ (fake fire) stands for the showing off, lying, and faking on social networks. In the lyrics, Sophiya speaks her mind on the issue. In order to convey her thoughts wholly, she decided to leave the lyrics in English.

When you’re fooling to show you’re perfect

For the house of cards they don’t ever notice”
