Future R&B artist and singer-songwriter Sobae has released her third single, ‘Holiday‘, featuring rapper San E today.
Sobae‘s self-produced new single is a catchy summer bop with a groovy moomba beat and the singer’s silky vocals.
In April, Sobae joined rappers San E and Mad Clown on their month-long US tour across 20 cities, during which she wrote this song.
“The moment I heard the track, I knew we had to be on it together,” San E revealed in a recent interview. His witty lyrics and lively rap seem to go perfectly with the rhythmic melody.
Sobae revealed in a recent interview that she “[…] simply wanted to write a song that will lift your spirits and transport you to a happier place. Whether you picture yourself driving down a highway or shaking it beachside, I hope you can feel the rush of indulging in a well-deserved holiday.”
In stark contrast to her sensual, moody musings on previous tracks ‘Switch Up‘ and ‘Homegirl (Feat. Exy of WJSN)‘, Sobae shows off her broad musical spectrum through the bright, groovy new track.
Sobae worked with her producer and former Aziatix member Eddie Shin, as well as rising producer and rapper Goldy. The latter is one of the leading artists of JAM, an innovative social media platform designed for creative collaborations.
While continuing her musical endeavors, Sobae has been receiving attention from diverse domestic and international media sectors. She will continue to build her career as a multifaceted entertainer.
Her new single is out on all Korean music platforms, international ones to follow. Her self-directed music video is coming out via ILZO & CO.’s YouTube channel on July 20 at 12 AM KST. Check out the teaser below!
