J’Kyun and singer-songwriter TARIN have released the digital single ‘Polaroid (폴라로이드)‘ today.
“Even when time passes and it all fades”
The song starts with a line that sounds like a regular love song.
“Our lives are a lot shorter than we think, so let’s take pictures”
J’Kyun‘s lyrics express regret and sadness over past times, delivering the message that our normal everyday life might be the most precious of our memories. The track was produced by MARCO and features TARIN whose bright singing contrasts with J’Kyun’s chant-like rapping like spring and winter.
The two artists collaborated recently to cover Jeff Bernat’s ‘Call You Mine’ for which they gained 2nd place on Naver’s Musician League. There, two live versions of J’Kyun’s previous single ‘Soaking (흠뻑) (Feat. Cherry Coke)‘ are available as well, so head over and give them a listen!
