R&B singer-songwriter DinoSoul has released his fourth single ‘Won’t Hate You (미워하지 않기로 했어)’ yesterday along with a music video.
This new song is about a man’s feelings as he sees his ex after their breakup, her being all nonchalant as if nothing had happened, very much unlike himself. A warm but sad electric piano sound makes up most of the song, along with fall-y brass and string instruments and the singing that sounds like someone talking to himself.
The music video was directed by Anthony’s World. It shows the refreshing sea which stands in stark contrast to the mood of the song.
Before its official release, ‘Won’t Hate You‘ was available on Naver’s Musician League where it stayed in the Top 50 for a while. This was proof that DinoSoul’s attempt at a slightly different style of music was a good choice.
