Balming Tiger debuts with “January Never Dies,” blending chart-topping tracks and a call for self-love, setting the stage for a K-pop revolution.
With their international concerts canceled, Balming Tiger is streaming their “The Tiny Tour: Online Concert” on their YouTube channel tomorrow.
Crush has just dropped his new mini-album, “with HER”, and the MV of its title track. The EP features Taeyeon, Lee Hi, Lee Sora, Yoonmirae, and BIBI.
CHOILB tells sweet stories of love in his second full-length album, “CC“, which features rapper Khundi Panda and singer THAMA.
Omega Sapien of “alternative K-pop group” Balming Tiger dropped his first LP, “Garlic“, in which he thematizes himself from the past to the present.
The album consists of seven tracks, in which Omega Sapien expresses his honest experiences and thoughts. The music resembles “Garlic”, the natural antibiotic. A number of talented producers such as Unsinkable (of Balming Tiger), SUMIN, and Suho Lee participated to maximize the fun of listening. In addition, Abdu Ali, a promising musician based in Baltimore, added his voice to the album as the only featured artist.
In the case of the album’s artwork, famous Japanese cartoonist Shintaro Kago participated and expressed Omega Sapiens’ ego through several covers he drew. The music videos were produced by Jan’Qui (of Balming Tiger), well-known for Keith Ape‘s “IT G MA,” and Pennacky, who was nominated at the “Berlin Music Video Awards” for “Armadillo” and “Kolo Kolo.” Omega Sapien releases two music videos directed by them, that continue the shocking visuals they have brought to their fans.
For those who knew Omega Sapien only as a rapper limited to the hip-hop genre, “Garlic” is expected to be an explanation for the “alternative K-pop” advocated by Balming Tiger. The pre-release singles “Serenade for Mrs. Jeon” and “Ah! Ego” have already received enthusiastic reactions by local and global music lovers, so this first album is expected to resonate with the music market.
Moreover, Omega Sapien will sell limited-edition goods such as T-shirts through an online pop-up store on Balming Tiger’s official website on September 23. A small number of physical albums is planned to be released on vinyl.

Balming Tiger have dropped their third single, “Kolo Kolo,” along with a MV today. Produced by Unsinkable, the track features Omega Sapien and wnjn.
Dingo and “DAMOIM,” ’84-born rappers YUMDDA, Deepflow, Paloalto, The Quiett and Simon Dominic, have released the single and music video “Forever 84.”
