For his first mini album ‘BlueYellowUniVerse’, rapper Scid (read: acid) has received support from YUMDDA, Loky Beatz, Danny Roots, Deeepsol, and more.
Scid‘s debut single ‘공전하네’ came out in 2016. That and his second single ‘외국인 (外國人)‘ (lit.: foreigner) were pre-releases of this album.
‘BlueYellowUniVerse‘ contains six tracks that paint the colors of Scid’s musical universe in the listener’s ears. From upbeat tracks over rock sounds with an electronic guitar to synthesizers and future sounds, a variety of instruments and melodies are accompanied by the artist’s diverse rap styles.
It quickly becomes clear that this rapper’s color palette is much more dazzling than just blue and yellow. And the track’s topics underline this as well: Scid raps about friendships, success, being hungover, and feeling left out.
The featured artists include YUMDDA who released his second LP ‘MINA‘ in July, THOMVS of GR8VATTIC, and the talented Danny Roots who debuted in February with the mini album ‘Retrogade‘.
