Microdot releases new mini album and MV ‘Thinking About You’
Two days ago, Microdot has released his new mini album ‘Thinking About You‘ along with the music video of its title track.
Choiza and Microdot drop joint digital single and music video, ‘Hit!!!’
Sharing the same first name and a passion for fishing, Choiza and Microdot have collaborated on the single ‘Hit!!!‘.
The last time Choiza and Microdot worked together was in 2005, when Microdot was twelve years old and a member of All Black. He recorded an a capella verse for Dynamic Duo‘s second full-length album, ‘Double Dynamite’.
Now, thirteen years later, the two Jaehos properly got together on the same track. On the trap beat they producer together with Stoner Tunes, the two rap about fishing.
The music video (see below) features pixel art by JOOJAEBUM, who also created the teaser for Jay Park’s upcoming ‘Yacht’ MV.

RAVI releases his third mixtape, ‘K1TCHEN’
VIXX member RAVI has released his third mixtape today. ‘K1TCHEN‘ features flavors from Coogie, Basick, Microdot, Double K, holymoley!, and more.
In January 2017, RAVI released his first solo album, ‘R.EAL1ZE’. Since then, he has worked on and released many mixtapes, improving his skills as a producer, writer, and composer: his first mixtape, ‘R.EBIRTH 2016‘, and his second mixtape, ‘NIRVANA’.
This third mixtape of his is mostly based on trap music, giving off a different vibe than ‘NIRVANA’ which was very melodic. The cover shows the microphone that RAVI used to record his verses with, representing the place where the artist is creating his music.
Besides the pre-released ‘Pavlov’s Dog‘, the tape holds five tracks. The featured artists are Coogie, Double K, Microdot, Cold Bay, and Basick, acknowledged and talented rappers.
Producer-wise, RAVI worked once again with Yuth and PUFF, who already took part in his previous two mixtapes. The title track was co-produced by holymoley! of R&B crew Marilyn Monderland, who is best known for having produced Hi-Lite‘s ‘Rapflicks‘.

Microdot releases new mini album ‘Light’
After his first-full length album ‘PROPHET‘, Microdot returns with a shiny new mini album. ‘Light‘ holds five tracks produced by Stoner Tunes.
Microdot writes: “I worked on this mini album together with my producer and production partner Stoner Tunes, who I’ve already worked with on ‘PROPHET’. […] The album expresses my current situation. I think that this path I am on right now, walking towards my dreams both in music and variety shows, this is the time I am shining the brightest. My gratitude and experiences can be heard in this EP.”
He adds: “#Light is a gift for my fans and my friends. Without y’all there’s no Microdot. Apple & Spotify release time may[…]be delayed. Microdot drops first full-length album ‘PROPHET‘
After much anticipation, rapper Microdot released his first full-length album ‘PROPHET.’
Microdot started working on his full length album from December 1, 2016 to October 25, 2017. He produced the entire album, four music videos, CD and two photobooks. Each song has a deep meaning, and he based the tracks on his many experiences with his family, friends, and love. He touches on his hardships and successes while being away from family. Though he had a hard time he describes how he enjoyed his experiences and love story. Having just returned to Korea two years ago, he wrote about his feelings and thoughts that have changed over the years.
Many artists have contributed to the album such as: YDG, Chancellor, Sanchez, Boi B, Ravi of VIXX, SUPERBEE, SUL, Verbal Jint, Paloalto, DJ Friz, and DAVII. The main producer is Stoner Tunes of the team Pray4 Productions. For eleven months he worked with Microdot and the mastering engineer Marcus Harm.
The full album can be listened to on Spotify and iTunes and is available on all major Korean music sites.
