MORE AND MORE: Sanchez releases first single as independent artist

Singer Sanchez returns after about one year with the digital single ‘MORE AND MORE (많이 많이 더)‘, his first release as an independent artist and a pre-release off his first full-length album, ‘Sanchez Manual’.

Making his voice known as a member of the trio Phantom, Sanchez gained popularity among both hip-hop fans and listeners of pop music as he featured on countless hit songs. Now, he has taken his first step as an independent artist.

At this opportunity, Sanchez has become more experimental. This new song influenced by British pop ballads is based on his personal breakup experience. In the lyrics, the singer describes the feelings people experience after a breakup as they go on with their daily life. He writes:

“Hello, this is Sanchez.
I’d like to thank my fans who have been waiting for a long time.
This song came to life about three years ago. At the time it only had the initial English lyrics and piano accompaniment.
This year, I happened to be streaming Coachella, so producer Stoner Tunes and I decided to have more of an unplugged, live band sound. Thus, the song turned into what it is today. :)
I will bring you even more amazing and raw music, so look forward to it!

Sanchez releases mini album ‘Colour’

Seven years after his debut, Sanchez is finally releasing his first mini album full of his ‘Colour (감성)’.

In March, Sanchez pre-released the track ‘5분만 더 (5 More Minutes) (Feat. Beenzino)‘, showing his skills as an urban R&B vocalist and producer.

Going back and forth between South Korea and New Zealand for about four months, Sanchez worked on the six tracks that make up ‘Colour‘. They sequentially tell of the emotional changes between two lovers. The artist included his own experiences in the lyrics.
While the pre-released song featured Beenzino, the album further includes featurings by Highlight’s Yong Jun-hyung, and Sanchez’s brother Microdot.

Now, Sanchez’s music concentrates more on urban and ambient sounds, and he swiftly switches back and forth between singing and rapping, strengthening his position as a multiplayer.
To top it off, he participated not only in creating the music but also the cover art and music videos. Do enjoy this album that is thickly painted in Sanchez’s colour.

SOOM releases single and MV ‘TBH (To Be Honest) (Feat. Sanchez)’

Soomin Ahn, who is well-known for her appearances on Show Me The Money and Unpretty Rapstar, has released her very first single today.

‘인정‘ or ‘TBH (To Be Honest)‘ is a feel-good, playful track about admitting to one’s feelings towards someone. It features Sanchez who has been acknowledged both for his singing and rapping skills, and who demonstrates great chemistry with Soom.

Soom says that this is only the start of her great plans for 2017.
