Soul One releases first full-length album ‘SouLonely’

Singer Soul One has released his first full-length album ‘SouLonely‘ yesterday with support by Coke Jazz, Satbyeol, Huckleberry P, Hwaji, and Paloalto. The music video for the title track ‘Thank U’ has come out as well.

Singer Soul One debuted in 2008 with the single ‘No More’. In 2016 he and EachOne collaborated on the full-length album ‘Blue Dream‘ and most recently on the single ‘Purple (Feat. Born Kim)‘.

There are several types of music. Easy listening, music that you dance to, music that touches you deeply, and music that helps you concentrate.
Then, there is Soul One’s first full-length album, which is somewhere in between all those categories. It is the type of music that sounds unfamiliar.

“Soul” stands for a music genre as well as for the determination to always keep a pure soul. “One” represents the will to be number one in a specific field, but also for simply being the one and only. Thus, Soul One is the one and only soul.

This album is about that soul’s loneliness. Its songs are all fortright and honest. The singer received support from Cohort producer Coke Jazz, singer Satbyeol, rapper Hwaji, and his former Hi-Lite label mates Huckleberry P and Paloalto.

EachONE and Soul One release single ‘Purple (Feat. Born Kim)’

R&B/soul musicians EachONE and Soul One have released a sophisticated retro track today featuring Born Kim.

The two previously released the single ‘Ship-G-Ana‘ (2015) and the full-length album ‘Blue Dream‘ (2016) together.
Their new single ‘Purple’ is more upbeat than their other collaborations, a medium tempo funk/disco style R&B track. It uses the color purple to describe the feelings one might have at a club on the weekend. On EachONE‘s characteristically appealing arrangement, Soul One‘s vocals and Born Kim‘s rapping complete each other impressively.

EachONE & Soul One have released their full-length album ‘파랗던 꿈’ (Blue Dream) today.

The huge dreams of people in their twenties .. Now some dreams have become clearer and others had to be given up, that is how most people enter their thirties. An age where all you can do is lamentably look at the last pieces of hope that were cruelly broken by reality. This album is the story of musicians in their thirties who prefer talking about the good old days as snacks while they clink glasses with their friends. Even most of the featured musicians are in their thirties or older.
By releasing the single ‘쉽지않아 (Ship-G-Ana)‘ (It’s Not Easy) and the EP ‘서른어택 (The Duty Awakens)‘ last year, producer EachONE and vocalist Soul One have layed the outlines for this full-length album. The single and the EP were the tip of the iceberg which is now fully showing itself. ‘Blue Dream’ is made up of fifteen tracks, of which two are skits.
The album had been available on SoundCloud for free listening for one week before its official release. You can now preview the album on iTunes or on SoundCloud below.
