With their international concerts canceled, Balming Tiger is streaming their “The Tiny Tour: Online Concert” on their YouTube channel tomorrow.
Balming Tiger was set for a worldwide tour this year, including performances at SXSW, The Great Escape and Midem, but the COVID-19 crisis has forced all of their foreign performances to be canceled. This led to the planning of an online concert. A full set list, including Omega Sapien who recently released his first EP, is expected to soothe the thirst and disappointment of fans who cannot enjoy Balming Tiger’s performances offline.
On a barge on Han River, all the performers of the team — Omega Sapien, sogumm, wnjn, Mudd the Student, Unsinkable, and San Yawn — show about an hour of live performances.
Balming Tiger have always been noted for their original video quality. Their concert visuals this time were directed by Jaeyeob Bang, who has produced music videos for numerous Korean musicians, including Crush, ZICO, Code Kunst and Samuel Seo. He captured the beautiful scenery along the Han River around the time of the sunset. While travel is limited these days, the video is expected to convey the image of Seoul in autumn to overseas fans.
The concert will be available on the band’s official YouTube channel at 6PM KST on Friday, November 13. In addition, the tour will allow you to enjoy Balming Tiger’s unreleased group songs early on, so don’t miss it!
