CedarWOOD - See The WOOD Vol. 2 (cover art)

CedarWOOD releases ‘See The WOOD Vol. 2’

Gravity Music’s beatmaker CedarWOOD has released his second single ‘See The WOOD Vol. 2’ with featurings by Jerry.k and Don Malik of daze alive.

The name CedarWOOD is taken from the cedar tree whose scent is used for relaxation or meditation. The artist found his music to be similar to that tree. Rough parts of samples and primitive melodies are woven into a beat, wandering back and forth between vintage boom bap and trap sounds.

See the WOOD‘ is a series of collaborations between CedarWOOD and different rappers. The title is a word play on the beatmaker’s name. Volume 1 came out a month ago.

For ‘See the WOOD Vol. 2‘, CedarWOOD once again worked with bcalm, Jerry.k, and Nahzam Sue. The single contains two tracks.  ‘DAGASHI’ pictures the feeling of stuffing junk food into the mouth and chewing on it. ‘Real Deal’, which additionally features Don Malik, is about true values, apart from materialism.
