Bloody Web drops first full-length album, ‘A Lack of Love from You’

Yesterday, Bloody Web of HNML Crew released his first full-length album, ‘A Lack of Love from You‘. The LP features twlv, Mckdaddy, Young Stone, and more.

Bloody Web has been molding his style through SoundCloud, releasing his debut album, ‘Spin a Revenge Web’, in August last year. In May this year he collaborated with his HNML Crew mate QWER on the mini album ‘GUIDE‘.

In his first full-length album, Bloody Web expresses skepticism, a sense of loss; his inner feelings that he hasn’t been able to tell anyone about. So, the “You” in the album title does not refer to a specific person; it could be anyone or any situation.

The featured artists include twlv, who’s been working with SUPERBEE and debuted with ‘Contents ½‘ last month, HNML member Mckdaddy, Young Stone who released his first EP yesterday, Bloody Web’s fellow VVAV Crew member wijineedsmore, and others.
The beats were mostly produced by Trust, Bloody Web’s aka, also by his Stoney Trusty team-mate Yk3, and by Young Wii.

Mutang, the $eoul kid releases second mini album ‘$eoul Kid’

Mutang, the ‘$eoul Kid‘ has released his new mini album today. It reflects the changes in his life and music.

MUTANG has tried himself at a variety of genres with ‘EP : NIKEBIRD‘ or ‘752‘. In July 2017 he took part in his crew’s cypher ‘HONEYGANG‘. Recently, the rapper has been uploading track after track on SoundCloud, including pre-releases off this mini album.

The EP is very meaningful to Mutang. He used it to progress issues like a friend’s betrayal, monetary problems, and relationship troubles. The music reflects his pain and his self-healing process.

The album beings with ‘Nothing’, a track about hopelessness. Mutang then raps about smoke, and about the loss of his best friend. A skit lights up the atmosphere that is continued in ‘Bo$$in’. The topics then include sex and drugs until the rapper looks back on his life in ‘Mama’. The album ends with ‘Iphone’, in which Mutang calls a friend.

The artist expresses his thoughts and feelings very clearly and detailed in each track. This truly is an album that represents Mutang well. You can stream it on SoundCloud (see above).

Qiolet - ^_v (cover art)

Qiolet of Sixes Game releases first mixtape ‘^_v’

Rapper Qiolet (previously known as ‘Frock Qiolet’) has released his first mixtape ‘^_v’ today with a total of thirteen tracks.

The title ‘^_v‘ is an emoticon that represents the emotions in Qiolet‘s music. It looks happy but is actually depressed. A few of the tracks had been pre-released as demo versions, but Qiolet refined them, mostly at Sixes Game‘s studio.

The tape contains mainly trap music, more experimental sounds can be heard in the latter half. Qiolet engineered, i.e. mixed and mastered, all tracks himself and even participated in the arrangement of some.

He received sturdy support from his crew mates Zahili, Fistachio, Gwangsoo Park, Van Quish, and Queso. Further help comes from pepperswingswing’s Han pepperswingswing and Dasom Park.

Qiolet announced that he will be working with his crew from now on, as well as start working on his solo album ‘You and Me on the MOON’.
Furthermore, he revealed that he is planning more surprise mixtapes that will be part of the ’emoticon series’ just like this one.
