Rapper Sikboy has released his fourth single today. ‘Palm Tree‘ with its refreshing West Coast vibe features his label mate Plan.Z.
California-raised rapper Sikboy kicked off his career in 2009 with the mixtape ‘MA BAD’. He became well-known for his San E diss track. In 2015 he was featured in HiphopLE’s documentary series ‘Korean Hip-hop in LA‘ next to Loopy and nafla. First, he was signed to Cycadelic Records, then went independent. He participated both in Show Me The Money 5 and 6, and released his first single in Korea in 2016, titled ‘Raw Shiit (Feat. Waldo)‘.
Two months ago, Sikboy released ‘Lluvia‘, his first single under 0316 Records.
This new single boosts fresh rap and witty lyrics on DJ/producer Wildwhip‘s G-funk sounds and trendy rhythm arrangement. Sikboy’s 0316 Records mate, singer Plan.Z hailing from Orange County, lent his voice as support.

Rapper Sikboy has joined the label 0316 and released his new single ‘lluvia‘ on June 11. The song features R&B/soul artist Luz.

Hiphop/R&B singer-songwriter Plan.Z of 0316Records has released his single ‘Alley Cat (feat. L1lprince).
Plan.Z drew inspiration for his track from the lifestyle of alley cats. The artist mentions that people think of living a free life when they see alley cats. He thought of the position of these cats and how in reality, they don’t have anything to eat because they don’t have a home. Similar to these alley cats, musicians may seem free on the surface, but are not living a completely “free” life. This single aims to seek true freedom, not only for musicians but for anyone that feels they have lost freedom in their life.
As mentioned by the artist, “especially in such cold weather, we hope that this track will bring warm comfort to everyone that listens.”
‘Alley Cat’ features rapper L1lprince. The rapper is an Indiana native, and also happens to be Plan.Z’s best friend. The track was produced by Plan.Z himself. DJ Wildwhip contributed to the arrangement with his 90’s influenced deep R&B sounds. Through their production and composition, a soulful R&B track was born.

Plan.Z releases single ‘Make It Alright (Feat. Nuff Louis)’
Hiphop/R&B singer-songwriter Plan.Z of 0316 Records has released his fifth single ‘Make It Alright’ today.
Sometimes when we try to cook something tasty, it turns out to not taste very good. However, there is no need for us to be disappointed because while we failed this time, there will be a next chance to do better. In the end, there are no actual failures but just endless trials that we go through in order to improve ourselves and we should not doubt this.
Hiphop/R&B singer-songwriter Plan.Z made his debut with the independent LP ‘I Call This Love’ in 2016. His artist name comes from the idea that at the end of life there is nothing he can do but to resort to his last plan, or “plan Z,” which is to turn to God.
With this album, he delivers a message full of hope wrapped in funky music. He once again collaborated with rookie rapper Nuff Louis who he has been working with since his debut. DJ Wildwhip‘s trendy hiphop beat and the disco music arrangement lay the foundations for Plan.Z’s latest R&B song.
