Independent artist 9won has released his first mini album, ‘INCITE‘, today. ILLUID HALLER produced the five tracks.
9won(read: koo-one)released his first single in 2016. He is known for winning season 7 of the Super Rookie Challenge. In 2017 he dropped the mixtape ‘Blue Universe‘ and released the three singles ‘별 빛‘ (lit.: starlight), ‘Daybreak‘, and ‘Don’t Care‘. This year, the artist released the singles ‘Drivin‘, ‘BLIND‘, ‘Sham‘, and ‘Stagger‘.
Today, the artist dropped his first mini album. All five tracks were produced by ILLUID HALLER who gave each a different charm, from the funky ‘Mully’ to the jazzy title track ‘3AM’.
IIVI Crew‘s FR:EDEN has released his debut album, ‘PEACE FUNK‘, today. The EP features EXN, Jade, and Rheehab.
FR:EDEN is well-known for his experimental hip-hop and R&B sounds. After establishing himself through Naver’s Musician League and SoundCloud, the artist debuted in October last year with the single ‘Friend Zone‘. In the following he released ‘TWILIGHT‘, ‘If You Can’t Fall Asleep‘, and ‘BING BING‘. The last was a pre-release off this album.
This debut EP contains six tracks for which FR:EDEN was inspired by his daily life. As usual for the artist, the overall atmosphere is mellow and upbeat. The sounds produced by FR:EDEN, OPO, TOIL, and DYANI, are a mix of pop, R&B, soul, funk, and hip-hop.
