“A record of youth in the 20s that scatters in beautiful colors,” that is Geeks’ new full-length album with featurings by Crush, Giriboy, Sik-K, Hyolyn, and many more.

Lil Boi who works toward better music and a better life, and Louie who tries to speak of love while standing on the same ground as others. These two are the hiphop duo Geeks who are releasing their second full-length album ‘Fireworks‘.

Just like their previous ‘Backpack‘ LP, ‘Fireworks’ is a well filled CD with 16 tracks. Shining with inspiration, the songs follow one another as naturally as the seasons. Encounters and breakups, love and fights, excitement and fear. These and more feelings are recorded in the album. They are stories about a lover, stories for fans, and stories the two rappers tell each other.

In the last four years, Geeks have grown musically as they went through the process of finding themselves and now present themselves even stronger. The album lets you feel the countless hours the two spent in the studio in order to confidently deliver their music to their fans who have been waiting. Only three producers participated in the composition of the tracks: Duplex G, Pley, and Fisherman (not counting Slom who participated in track 6). By working on 13 tracks, Duplex G is the one who steered the album in its overall direction. The songs reflect the latest trends without getting buried under them. Each of Duplex G’s minimal arrangements, each of his song concepts is clear and expressive.

‘Fireworks’ also features a great number of artists. One of the two title tracks, ‘Fireworks’, features guitarist and legendary artist Sang-won Han of the super band GIGS. Further there are Hyolyn, Crush, Giriboy, Sik-K, Stella Jang, Cheska, and Taylor, who are all featuring on the track that fits them the best. The interludes were created by singer-songwriter and guitarist Soohyun Ryoo.

After persevering for four years, here is the music that everyone has been looking forward to, the music that Geeks worked on with all their sincerity and wanted everyone to hear. Enjoy the ‘Fireworks’ that Geeks are painting on the night sky.
