Hip-hop artist Harry Park, known by the stage name pH-1, gave HiphopKR a very special opportunity. In this in-depth interview, he opened up to us about his faith, his music, and his thoughts on the state of hip-hop in Korea. His honesty was truly a revelation.

Great article. Very well written, dug the detailed observation of the artist as they were interviewed too.
That issue of “good external look/behavior” before content is soooo intertwined with Korean culture that it can be seen in the family dynamics, churches, media, etc.
Sigh. Past 2-3 years has been a musical revival both as a hiphop fan and as a Korean…i hope this thing gets nurtured, evolves, and gets better than it already is.
Again, great article!
Very well written article with such intimate details of the artist. A great way to relay pH-1’s characteristic truthfulness. Great work!
