A small gesture in the midst of loss and despair: SLEEQ has pre-released the track ‘Dance for You (춤)‘ off her upcoming second album.
This song delicately expresses the wish to convey one small gesture instead of a smile, tears, comfort, or criticism in the face of an unforeseen loss and despair. The atmosphere of this single gives a good idea of SLEEQ‘s new album.
She composed the track together with jazz pianist MeariNam. Both musicians were chosen for the CJ Culture Foundation Tune Up which supports indie artists. theoria completed the song with the engineering.
Just like for this single, SLEEQ collaborated with talents from various areas for her upcoming album, including Studio Chawon, Nicepress, visual director Yong Jung, and photographer Hyojoo Ahn. The album is scheduled to drop in mid-May.
