The duo Pretty Brown have released their first full-length album today.
The title track of ‘Episode 1‘ is an urban R&B song about the grey zone between two people after a breakup. It was composed by newcoming producer team Yama Art (야마아트) who produced e.g. Seventeen’s ‘웃음꽃 (Smile Flower)’ and IOI’s ‘소나기 (Downpour)’, Zelkova Music’s artist and composer YOONSUK, and Hyunjoong of Pretty Brown. The lyrics were written by Young Jay, Yama Art, and Hyunjoong, as well as Verbal Jint who features on the track.
The music video was directed by Changwon Moon and Byunchang Kang who have created countless successful commercials and it stars Siyoon Kim, former member of U-Kiss.

Kanto of Brand New Music has released his first EP album ‘14216‘ today.
Kanto is known for being part of the group Troy together with Bumkey and for several featurings for artists like Seo Inyoung, 15&, Raina, Bada, or Rumble Fish. Three years after his debut he is now releasing his first mini album.
The album title stands for the two years from 2014 to 2016 that Kanto spent working on this album. The title track ‘Lonely’ is a tropical house – hiphop mix that was created by Brand New Music’s next-generation producer 9999. It also features singer-songwriter Eddy Kim who is trying out a completely new genre. The music video was directed by NAMSANFILM‘s Kang Seungwon who has also responsible for Crush’s ‘Oasis’ and Paloalto’s ‘Good Times’.
Kanto personally produced all tracks and it is evident how much his skills have improved. He received help from idol group Seventeen’s WOOZI, producer 9999, R&B singer Yang Dail, newcoming producer DOKO, Kang Minhee of Miss $, hit producer Primeboi and Brand New Music’s veteran producer Assbrass.
This album is Brand New Music’s first trainee rapper’s first big step as a solo artist, so make sure to give it a listen. You can check out the official album preview below!

Brand New Music’s power women KittiB and Jace have dedicated their new project single ‘바쁘다 바빠 (So Busy)‘ to all career women.
The single is a collaboration with fashion magazine Cosmopolitan Korea that is celebrating its 16th birthday. The medium tempo hiphop track was produced by Brand New Music’s CEO Rhymer personally. In order to write realistic lyrics, KittiB and Jace gathered information from actual career women.
‘So Busy’ also features Brand New Music’s young blood Kanto and veteran DJ Juice.

Kanto has released the single ‘요즈음 (YOSM)‘ [These Days] today, which delivers a positive message for the youth.
Kanto is known for being part of the group Troy and for several featurings for artists like Seo Inyoung, 15&, Raina, or Rumble Fish. This new single is a pre-release off his first EP ‘14216’. Its message is that if you live with a dream, you will be able to smile one day despite the tiring, repetitive every-day life. The beat was made by ‘동네형’ (Neighborhood-hyung) and Won Youngheon who produced hits like San E’s ‘Story of Someone I Know’ and Davichi’s ‘Two Lovers’. The melody line was made by producer Xepy. The track also features WOOZI of Seventeen, this being his first time featuring on anyone’s song ever.
The single also contains the track ‘카엔티오 (SayMaName)’ that is about doing your own thing without minding others.
