Rapper Hunger Noma of Vitality has released the digital single ‘Taecho Maeul‘ today.
“A fairly new and quiet town. It’s a small and pretty place.”
The title of this song is the Korean name of ‘Pallet Town‘ which appears in the Pokémon games. It is the hometown of many main characters and the place where they start their journey.
In the lyrics of his track, Hunger Noma raps about adventures, challenges, and freedom, reminding the listener of their innocent view on the world as a child. The bold and powerful sentences reference positive human characteristics like inquisitiveness and hopefulness. Anyone who has played Pokémon before will especially like this track as some expressions will make you think of the game scenes right away.

How does a hero rise like the sun and how does that greatness fall?
A madman who does not surrender to the rule is born below a handful of moonlight,
and his art quietly blooms and withers without waiting for a choice.
Now, in front of the cliff of time
one boy’s love ends, and when that silence gathers and the parade of an era ends.
The teeth of a comb that finally come down indifferently push the memories outside of view,
but he does not see this as the end.
This album is an anthem about the wheel that controls
the detailed but huge order, from our wearisome, repetitive days
to our recurring history.
And, it is a letter of confession about one’s self,
a fateful human who stands bare in front of the world.
The attempt to express our world fullface, our world that is cold-hearted but beautiful and magnificent,
might actually be a Sisyphean task that fails forever,
but IGNITO‘s ‘Gaia‘ contains exactly such a dangerous experiment in each and every line
and that is the kind of work it will be remembered as.

Black Nine releases ‘Lord Knows (Feat. Hunger Noma)’, Ignito working on 2nd full-length album
Black Nine, who mainly makes hardcore hiphop, has released his second digital single ‘Lord Knows’ today.
The track is the first posthumous release of Vitality Music’s producer Kontrix, who suddenly passed away last year in June. As a tribute to him, Vitality and Blacky Crew’s Hunger Noma worked together on ‘Lord Knows’. The beat was produced by Kontrix for Black Nine, who he had promised to work with.
Meanwhile, Ignito is working on his 2nd full-length album which will be completely made up of Kontrix’s beats.
