Rapper Choi Sam has released the double single ‘F CODE‘ which is about mental illness.
There are many songs that the masses enjoy and can relate to. You can listen to love songs or breakup songs, whatever you feel like. However, on some days you just don’t feel like listening to any of that. These feelings that are not a topic of popular songs get labelled as “abnormal” or “wrong.” Choi Sam does not want this to happen. Just because those feelings only apply to a minority, that does not mean they do not exist at all. And the rapper wants to tell these stories of us, the stories that do exist.
According to the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, the “F” at the beginning of a code stands for mental disorders. This is the topic of these two tracks.
