Independent artist ARTISEAN debuted in December with the mini album ‘DEEPERSELF‘. Today, he returned with his second EP, ‘The Night of the Soul‘.
The four tracks on this album are derived from ‘Good Dawn’, the fifth track on ‘DEEPERSELF’. After having released his first album, ARTISEAN suffered through mental illnesses which he healed by turning them into music. His efforts to overcome the illnesses are obvious in these songs.
Talented producers Gunbae, Sid Frio, Don Sign., and James Keys each produced one track. The topics include separation anxiety disorder, depression, insomnia, and panic disorder. From the first track that handles anxiety to the last one about panic, the music also describes the time from nightfall to dawn. At the same time, this variation in time represents the months during which ARTISEAN worked on this album.
