Talented R&B artist Villain of Planetarium Records has released his first EP, ‘Bank Robber‘, today as well as the music video of the title track ‘Manitto’.
Singer-songwriter Villain debuted in December 2016 with the single and music video ‘Rainy Night‘. In April last year he released his second single, ‘Fairy‘. He is an all-round talent who produces his own music.
This also goes for his debut album. Villain wrote, composed and arranged nearly all tracks himself, he only got some help from his AlphaDict Crew mate Ownr. Villain says the movie Hancock inspired him the most while making the five new tracks, and that especially for his foreign fans he wrote ‘Luhvin It’ entirely in English.
The title track ‘Manitto‘ argues that to someone, certain villains might be secret helpers, a bit like antiheroes. Watch its music video–directed by HOLOCOIN‘s HOBIN–below!
If you know some Korean, also check out the behind the scenes video and interview in which Villain explains the stories behind the tracks in detail!
