Silly Boot

Y1ee, member of Holmes Crew, has released his first mini album, ‘228‘, today. The EP mostly contains latin pop and reggaeton.

Y1ee released his debut single, ‘Surrf‘, in May last year. He’s worked with his Holmes Crew mates and is also a member of the crew’s project team, ‘Mangos‘. Last month, he pre-released the track ‘Why You Gotta Go‘ via SoundCloud.

The album title stands for the 2nd release of 28-year-old Y1ee as well as for “2 minutes and 28 seconds”. The latter represents the average length of the album’s songs. In that short amount of time, the artist exhibits his music style.
Furthermore, Y1ee worked rather fast on writing and recording these tracks, so that the lyrics ended up brief and concise as well.
