Future R&B artist and singer-songwriter Sobae has released her third single, ‘Holiday‘, featuring rapper San E today.
New Champ releases first full-length album ‘ME (Mutant’s Excuse)’
Eight years in the game, rapper New Champ has released his first full-length album yesterday. ‘ME (Mutant’s Excuse)‘ features Basick, San E, Boi B, Deepflow, Microdot, TakeOne, Nucksal, VINXEN, Webster B, and more.
Debuting in 2010, New Champ has seen a lot in his career: mixtapes, diss battles, countless groups, teams, and crews, and several bad incidents. The soon-to-be-32-year-old passed JYP’s open audition, participated in Show Me The Money 3, and has been a member of three different labels.
Currently, the former Guerellaz Crew leader is in ‘Sin N Punishment’ Crew and signed to Urbane Music, alongside several members of DICKIDS Crew, Chillin Ovatime, and Zol P. Last year, he dropped the mixtape ‘Training Zombie‘, his first release under the label.
A black leopard is a mutant.
It is said that it inhabits dark areas and was abandoned by its mother because of his fur’s different color.
Men have bred the animal in order to preserve its unique color, but that intensified its vicious nature.
Born to a mother, who has always been in poor health, and a wall of a father, New Champ thought of himself as a black leopard. What he remembers from his youth are mostly the lack of motherly love and the pressure his parents put on him with their expectations. The resulting twisted loneliness in him made many people suffer and brought forth a lot of malice.
With this album, New Champ intended to repent. However, after writing down the lyrics, he realized that he used art and music to make plausible, grandiose excuses well-disguised as repentance.

Rapper Marvel.J of All Right Music has released his first full-length album ‘BLUE MARVEL’ today. The album features Keem Hyo-Eun, San E, New Champ, Olltii, Huckleberry P, Basick, Sleepy, B.O., and Big Tray.
Marvel.J has been well-known as the leader of DNH Crew. He released his debut single in 2014. It was followed by five more singles as well as one mini album, ‘Graduation‘, in 2017. Basick recently introduced him as part of M2’s Respect series.
Today, the rapper has released his first full-length album. The title references ‘Blue Marble‘, a board game similar to Monopoly. Hidden behind the title is Marvel.J’s cheeky intent to travel the whole world with his music and pocket all the money.
‘BLUE MARVEL‘ reflects the current trends in Korean and international hiphop. Marvel.J’s lyrics are still honest and hard-hitting, expertly expressing his thoughts on the dream and life of a rapper. In order to prove himself a “rap star,” Marvel.J got many veteran rappers on board. And the unusual collaborations make this album even more exciting!
