KATIE releases new single and music video “ECHO”

KATIE, who has proven herself a rising artist through her debut mini-album, “LOG,” is back with a new single and music video titled “ECHO.”

This single carries on the vibe of “LOG,” foreshadowing how KATIE will “LOG IN” to a new music world.
“ECHO” is another masterpiece by the producers of “Remember,” which was brought to the forefront by Ty Dolla $ign‘s featuring. It is a future R&B track that uses the paradox of sad minor chords and light rhythmic verses. The dynamic nature of the song, provided by the synthesizer filtering, along with the distorted guitar in the chorus that grabs the listener’s attention, makes for a memorable and interesting track. KATIE’s unique tone color, falsetto, and authenticity shine through unapologetically in the track. The director of “Remember,” VM Project‘s Paranoid Paradigm, directed the video for “ECHO,” and created a sensational visual filmed in California.
The build-up of dreariness in a restrained place, resulting in the longing of love translated through an echo of desperation. This song will become the signal of KATIE logging into a new ego.

KATIE reintroduces herself with a new version of her debut single and music video “Remember” featuring Ty Dolla $ign.

KATIE is here to connect — to share her stories through music, with the humble hope of helping a fellow human feel less alone in this world.

Korean-born and New-Jersey-bred, KATIE was first exposed to music through school choirs and Top 40 radio. Feeling most at home creating and performing music, KATIE went on to attend Berklee College of Music, where she found her true love, R&B — falling for Lalah Hathaway, Aaliyah, Lauryn Hill, and Frank Ocean.

KATIE is finally ready to share her music sans labels or borders. 

As a re-introduction to the world, KATIE returns with a co-sign from Ty Dolla $ign, with “Remember.”
