Don Malik of daze alive has released the new single ‘Mowgli‘ which was produced by JUSTHIS.
Last year, Don Malik released the ‘Tribeast’ EP together with Kima, which was nominated for ‘Best Rap/Hiphop Album’ at the 14th Korean Music Awards. At the beginning of this year, Don Malik released the ‘FOMMY HILTIGER‘ mixtape together with his labelmate SLEEQ, all their concerts sold out early.
‘Mowgli’ is about how Don Malik, who was born in and grew up in the concrete jungle of Seoul, survives as someone with qualities that are different from everyone else’s. The beat that creates a raw atmosphere and the proficient, laid-back hook were created by JUSTHIS, on top of which Don Malik sprinkles his top class lyricism and tight rap. This combination shines like the buildings on the album cover.
Besides the music video, INPLANET have revealed a ‘DECODED’ video in which Don Malik explains his lyrics (see below).
