Not long before his famous solo concert ‘분신 7’, Hi-Lite Records artist Huckleberry P is releasing a new single.
Only about two weeks ago, Huckleberry P already surprised fans with the single ‘Human Torch (Feat. G2)‘. Another surprise comes with ‘One of Them‘, which also attracts attention due to the interesting collaboration: There is JUSTHIS who is doing his thing as persistent as Huckleberry P, and EK of the team M.B.A (Most Badass Asian) who have been in the spotlight recently.
On top of these two featured artists, producer UGP, who has often worked with Hi-Lite Records, produced the track. On his beat, these three artists with their strong characters spit their verses as if they were competing with each other.
These artists who represent the antipode of SMTM, which has helped many rappers reach success quickly, demonstrate a good example for a different kind of success in this music scene as they prove themselves once again.

MBA release second mini album ‘YF (Young Forever)’
‘YF’ or ‘Young Forever’ is the motto of Most Badass Asian and the title of the group’s latest mini album that is brimming over with youthfulness.
MBA released their first mini album ‘Most Badass Asian‘ in February.
In order to convey their thoughts to the listeners in detail, NEAL, EK, and BOLA‘s latest album does not include any featured artists. Even the production of the songs was done completely by NEAL.
The album starts off with EK’s solo track that he proudly and boldly named after himself, only to prove his skills on it. BOLA’s ‘Look Up’ is one of the more stylish tracks of the album. It is about BOLA’s personal values and thoughts about love. The two rappers show off their teamwork in the title track ‘YF’, which is topped off with NEAL’s addictive hook.

Basick releases ‘WTF 3: ￦ON IT ALL (Feat. Most Badass Asian)’
Basick has released the third part of his 2017 Way to Foundation (WTF) Project.
‘WTF 3: ￦ON IT ALL‘ features three-member group Most Badass Asian (MBA). The previous two parts featured Sik-K and Verbal Jint.
‘￦ON IT ALL’ was composed by Neal of Most Badass Asian (MBA) and is about doing one’s own thing disregarding existing rules and laws in order to attain one’s goal, which is in their case money. So the title is a witty three-way wordplay on the Korean Won, the verb ‘원해’ (wonhae) meaning “want” and the English “I want it all.”
The track is different from the styles we are used to from Basick but his usual flow on Neal’s beat is a new and refreshing experience. Check it out in the official lyric video below!

WAEB release ‘PARTY’ EP and MV
Newcomer R&B/hiphop duo WAEB, who are Wanna and JEBB, have released their first mini album and music video ‘PARTY’.
JEBB (real name: 김재욱, Jaewook Kim) has won the newcomer award at the Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards in 2012 and 2013 as part of the idol group ‘TOUCH’ (터치). Wanna (real name: 황준원, Joonwon Hwang) is a singer-songwriter and was the main singer of idol group BOYZ (보이즈).
These two are making music based on R&B, hiphop, and future bass, and are skilled artists who can sing, rap, write lyrics, compose, and produce.
Their first album ‘PARTY’ has tracks produced by hot composers mOnSteR nO.9 and 멧돼지 (Boar). The album includes three tracks as well as their instrumental versions. ‘PARTY’ is a future bass track about a man who cannot forget the women he met the night before at a party. The second track ‘Blue Bird’ with its addictive melody is full of gratitude towards the two members’ friends and family for supporting and believing in them. The third track ‘Domino’ is the two artists’ first collaboration and was pre-released last year, before WAEB was created. It uses the metaphor of dominos that keep going forward even though they fall down and features EK of M.B.A Crew.

Most Badass Asian release first EP
The three-member group Most Badass Asian have released their first mini album.
Neal, EK, and Bola all were part of the same hiphop dance crew, then started making music together. The remaining members of the dance crew are still active in the street dance scene as “MBA.”
With their first album ‘Most Badass Asian‘, the three want to narrow the gap between their dreams and reality. The album’s central topic is the team’s motto “Forever Young.”
The tracks were mixed and mastered by Nahzam Sue and Nior, and the music video directed by NamsanFilm who also created Crush’s ‘Oasis’ and Paloalto’s ‘Good Time’.
