Basick releases digital single ‘그 집 앞’

Basick, winner of Show Me The Money 4 who signed with Rainbowbridge World last year, has released the digital single ‘그 집 앞’ [In Front of That House] today.

The single is made up of three tracks that are linked together to create a special story. The theme of the first track ‘Dominant’ is attraction and regression, while each of the following two songs tells of one of the conflicting feelings of a man who goes to the house of his past love. Thanks to Basick’s characteristical rhythmic rap, these three songs are linked so well that it seems like you are listening to one track.
Basick held three guerilla concerts in Hongdae on Saturday where he performed all three tracks. (You can find pictures of the event on Basick’s Instagram and fancams on YouTube.) A teaser for the title track has already been released two days ago, and lyrics videos for the other two tracks have been pre-released as well (in Korean, linked below).

After collaborating with Lil Boi and featuring on Heo Gak’s song, this is Basick’s first solo work since Show Me The Money.

Basick, Big Tray

Basick and Big Tray sign with Rainbow Bridge World (RBW)

Big Tray and Basick, who has made himself widely know via Show Me The Money 4, have become the new ‘family’ of famous composer Kim Dohoon.


Kim Dohoon is the CEO of Rainbow Bridge World (RBW), who have made known today that, “Rappers Basick and Big Tray have signed with us. We will support them systematically with a professional management system.”

Basick is being treated as the possible winner of Mnet’s Show Me The Money 4 these days and is being complimented by the judges in every episode. That is how much of a skilled rapper he is in the underground. Together with him, Big Tray was part of the hiphop crew Jiggy Fellaz.

RBW’s signed artists are Mamamoo, Esna, Obroject, Bromance, Anglee, and more. It is managed by two CEOs, Kim Dohoon and the music business specialist Kim Jinwoo.
