Changstarr releases ‘On the Road Mixtape Vol. 2: Highdigger’

Rapper Changstarr has released the second part of his ‘On the Road‘ mixtape series titled ‘Highdigger’. He calls it “the bible of Korea’s future hippies.”

After living in the US for a long time, Changstarr was influenced by the hippie culture. This mixtape includes his message to the future hippie generation growing up in a South Korea that is dominated by individualism. The older generation’s worn-out ways and Confucian thinking repress the young generation’s freedom. Through this tape, Changstarr hopes that the ‘Doors of Perception’ will open at least a crack.

‘Highdigger‘ is made up of fourteen tracks including two skits. Both pre-released singles and music videos ‘Funky Swag‘ and ‘Savage‘ are part of this mixtape. Additional featurings come e.g. by Swings, Bill Stax, and Neil (who now goes as ‘DUH MAHNI’).
