Due to several circumstances, popular hiphop webtoon ‘Move The Crowd’ has come to a sudden end. Read on to find out why, as well as details about a remake.
Instead of the 26th chapter, the webtoon has been updated with an announcement this week. Due to monetary reasons (Naver Comics did not make ‘Move The Crowd’ an official webtoon, thus the authors are not earning any money) and health reasons (illustrator T-Rex has been working until exhaustion to finish each chapter within a week and is now experiencing health problems), the 25th chapter is the last.
Klassik and T-Rex had originally planned to work together for 20 chapters, so they have already exceeded that agreement. Klassik thanks T-Rex for working on those five additional chapters despite the situation, and says that was possible thanks to the readers’ encouragement and support.
Klassik had been hoping to remake the webtoon anyway, if Naver had proposed to make it an official webtoon which unfortunately did not happen, since he had been dissatisfied with the story’s initial progress. Now that T-Rex is leaving, the story cannot go on with completely different illustrations, so Klassik has decided to remake it from skratch. In the remake, the characters will be the same but the storyline will be very different.
After recovering his health, T-Rex will work on another webtoon. You can keep up to date with him via his Instagram, and if you’d like to know when ‘Move The Crowd’s remake is coming, Klassik’s Instagram is what you want to check.
The authors both apologize for the sudden end. Fans have shown their support in the comments, saying that they will wait for the remake, wishing T-Rex a speedy recovery, and some blaming Naver for not making ‘Move The Crowd’ an official webtoon.
