KKALCHANG releases EP ‘ROCKSTEADY’ and MV

KKALCHANG of Buckwilds Crew has released his first EP album ‘ROCKSTEADY’ as well as the music video for the track ‘Man In The Mirror’.

The album has been made to represent the golden era of Korean hiphop, the 90s, concentrating on heavy and serious boom bap based on a dull drum sound. Especially the participation of legendary producer Che 先生((read “seonsaeng” which means teacher)) J-U, who is known for having produced Garion’s very first album, will let you get a taste of the essence of Khiphop’s golden era. On top of this, the album features AOMG’s ELO, Buckwilds Crew’s head JTONG, VMC’s skilled rapper Nucksal, MKIT RAIN’s Owen Ovadoz, and more.

KKALCHANG wants to make steady and reliable music just like the album title suggests, and he has quite succeeded to do so with this release.

RHYME-A- releases ‘Story At Night: 10th Anniversary’

To celebrate ten years since the release of his debut EP ‘Story At Night’, RHYME-A- has released a remastered version of his masterpiece, befittingly titled ‘Story At Night: 10th Anniversary’.

Compact storytelling and perfected rap make it hard to believe that ‘Story At Night’ is a debut album. It came out in 2003, first distributed online for free, and received great love from critics and fans. Three years later in 2006, an unprecedented incident took place: due to the fans’ request, the album was officially released on CD and at the same time completely sold out. It is one of the greatest albums of Korean hiphop.

The remastered version has an even deeper sound, includes two new songs, and shines with new artwork. RHYME-A- has worked amongst others with producer Mild Beats and DJ Dopsh to recreate his masterpiece. Give it a listen to experience the past and the present of Korean hiphop with ‘Story At Night: 10th Anniversary’.
