Hiphop artist LAKE KIM of Neon Crew has released his fourth mixtape ‘IMAGES OF LIFE’ yesterday.
In 2012 and 2013, LAKE KIM dropped the mixtapes ‘Lake Registration‘ and ‘Sophomore‘, which featured amongst others Sik-K, Innovator, and Wooram. The talent he displayed had many consider him one of the best rookies then, along with his at-the-time crew mate Jay Moon.
Only three years later, LAKE returned to the scene with his third mixtape, ‘BITTERSWEET‘, and finally his debut single ‘Sunshine‘. Last year, the rapper released his first mini album ‘Snorkeling‘.
Yesterday, LAKE KIM dropped his fourth mixtape, containing ten tracks and no featurings.
At least once in your life, music will feel like images and images will feel like music to you. The various emotions you experience in daily life transform into images, i.e. compositions of colors, in your memories.
LAKE KIM tried to express those ‘IMAGES OF LIFE‘ in his own words and music.
‘Skippin’ Stones’ and ‘Parco Summerdays’ are upbeat songs that resemble the spring and summer. ‘Hold You’ contains the atmosphere of the fall, and ‘170405’ resembles the cold winter, when you see the back of someone who is about to leave.
