I was born as a third-generation Korean Japanese in a tiny village called Tajima.
This track is about the confusion I felt as I involuntarily grew up with both cultures, and it is also about me missing my aunt who left this world much too early.
(To the Koreans:) Although I’m Korean Japanese, I gave up permanent residency (in Japan) and have been an active-duty soldier in the Korean military, so don’t insult me for singing in Japanese.
