Rapper MAANSOO who you might know from the MBC documentary ‘Birth of a Rap Star’ (랩스타의 탄생) has released his seventh single ‘연습벌레‘.
The song whose title refers to someone who practices a lot is paradoxically about the inferiority complex, feelings of shame, helplessness and guilt that MAANSOO suffered from in the last year when he found he wasn’t hard-working enough. Especially the second verse delivers this message well as MAANSOO uses the phrases his favorite game characters say when using their “ultimate skills” in order to satirize his lazy self.
Also impressive are C.WHY‘s beat composition and development, as well as MAANSOO’s characteristic way of expressing himself and his skillful rapping.
