Hip hop artist E-Sens, who was previously charged and arrested for repeated marijuana use, will be released from prison today.

According to a Korean news article, E-Sens will be released today (October 3) from the Hongsung correctional institution following his 18 months of imprisonment secondary to repeated marijuana use (2012, 2014 and 2015).  Once he is released, E-Sens will be focusing on his music only, with no plans for interviews or activities.

Despite his imprisonment during his album release last year, E-Sens’ The Anecdote (2015) sold over 19,000 copies and also won ‘Album Of The Year’ and ‘Best Rap & Hip Hop Album’ at the 2016 Korean Music Awards (KMA).

Welcome back E-Sens!
