Five days ago, the duo Part Time Cooks pre-released the track ‘Dope Dealer’ off their upcoming mini album ‘Sacrifices’. The track is available for free listening on SoundCloud.

Part Time Cooks are rappers Black Moss, hailing from South Africa, and Saul Goode from North Carolina, USA. They are signed to Deepflow‘s label Vismajor Company who supports them with their releases in Korea. The two have worked with Korean artists Bill Stax (at the time: Vasco) and Joe Rhee on ‘Dutch Pay (Scotty Soul Remix)‘. Part Time Cooks have returned from their momentum-building 2017. They signed with South Korea’s hottest hiphop label Vismajor Company while dropping a flurry of singles. For example ‘sTRUEsGOD‘ and ‘Old Friends‘. Their upcoming release of ‘Dope Dealer‘ serves a delicious appetizer from their upcoming EP ‘Sacrifices‘, due out in February.

This track gives a little taste of everything Part Time Cooks have to offer. A range of delivery styles, from Black Moss‘s seamless transitions from Zulu to English to Saul Goode‘s far-from-monotone verse. Combined with lyrically substantial authentic vulnerability, ‘Dope Dealer’ flashes an insight into the theme of ‘Sacrifices’.

Consistent high-grade execution has helped put these overseas English teachers on the top of the radar. They’ve performed with industry staples Well$, G Yamazawa, Anderson .Paak, Wiz Khalifa, Raheem Kemet, and J-Live. Part Time Cooks reflect the power of teamwork in an increasingly every-man-for-themselves based world. The hard working crew continue to make waves across Asia, The United States, and South Africa, bringing hiphop culture to the masses.

After the industry-friendly single-heavy transitional year of 2017, ‘Sacrifices’ will be the groups’s first collection of songs to come out following up ‘7:30’, their collaboration with SoulChef. The band has been busy. And with a lot of upcoming music and videos simmering on the backburner, 2018 is set to pay dividends for PTC.
