Rapper QM releases first full-length album ‘WAS’
QM has released his very first full-length album ‘WAS‘ today with featurings by TakeOne, Wutan, and Don Malik.
QM made his debut in 2014 with the single ‘공공의 적’. He has released the mini album ‘Nazca’ (2016) together with veteran producer JA as well as his solo mini album ‘Eyez in the Drawer‘ (2017) which was crowdfunded. Only half a year later, he is presenting the world his first full-length album.
Many listeners know QM from his ‘한국힙합‘ (Korean Hiphop) mixtape with SIMS. Unlike his previous music, this album has more bright and upbeat sounds but the rapper still sticks to conscious rap in most of them. He says he paid special attention to the narrative of the twelve tracks. Besides the featured artists, QM received support from his crew mates: C.Why produced most of the tracks and KittiB helped out with the chorus.
On November 1, the CD with 14 tracks and each track’s cover picture will be available via Hiphopplaya’s online store.
