Indie producer HD Beatz has dropped his first full-length album, titled ‘Liberation‘, today. The LP features amongst others The Quiett, Hash Swan, Verbal Jint, QM, Jvcki Wai, and Dbo.
Indie rapper TAKUWA has released his debut album ‘Kawaii Heart‘ and the music video for ‘Cheese&Bread’ today. He got support from Laptopboyboy, CHOILB, DZ, Briel, Hassan Malik, and more.
TAKUWA has been active in the underground scene for years, dropping his first mixtape ‘Da face the best‘ in 2015 under the artist name “Da face.” The tape featured amongst others Owen Ovadoz and jinjunwang.
The rapper’s debut album contains six tracks produced by Laptopboyboy, Hassan Malik, andGwangsun Son, who has worked with myunDo and SUPERBEE before. Each track has a different style–TAKUWA acted as the creative director for the complete album.
‘What Should I Do’ is about strong feelings of love, in ‘KARAOKE’ TAKUWA wants to turn the whole world into his noraebang, ‘Deep Sea Diver’ makes you feel like you’re in a deep sea of heartbreak, ‘TT on you’ reminds of ’80s pop music, and in the hiphop tracks ‘Cheese&Bread’ and ‘That’s Enough,KawaiI’m OUT!’ the rapper spits his skills.
The title track ‘KARAOKE’ features CHOILB of WYBH Crew, and track six features FPL Crew‘s DZ, “the ninja of darkness,” and Briel, “the angel of enlightenment.”
