Basick releases digital single ‘WTF 1: My Wave (Feat. Sik-K)’
Basick has released the first part of his 2017 weekly ‘Way to Foundation‘ Project, ‘My Wave (Feat. Sik-K)‘.
In 2016, Basick concentrated on making his name better known through his first mini album, four singles and several drama OSTs. However, he does know that his fans miss him as the super rookie he was with Jiggy Fellaz. So, he took his time to stealthily prepare this project.
‘WTF’ is short for ‘Way to Foundation’. The project consists of monthly single releases that will appeal to both his old fans and those fans who got to know him thanks to SMTM.
The first part of this project is the trap hiphop track ‘My Wave (Feat. Sik-K)’. It is about Basick sticking by his belief as a rapper, no matter what anyone says about his music.
Through this project, Basick hopes to escape the stereotypes that people relate to him since SMTM. Just like back then when he paved the way for the heyday of Korean hiphop with a sensational entry into the scene, Basick will now show what he can do as a mainstream artist. Look forward to what he’s got waiting for you in 2017!
