Three Korean acts join a star-studded lineup at the world’s most iconic desert festival.

Coachella has unveiled its 2026 lineup, and Korea will be strongly represented on the Indio stage. Legendary group BIGBANG, soloist Taemin, and global project group KATSEYE have all been announced as part of this year’s festival bill, adding further weight to the event’s increasingly international scope.

BIGBANG’s long-awaited return

Originally scheduled to perform in 2020 before the pandemic forced the festival’s cancellation, BIGBANG will finally make their long-delayed Coachella debut. Known for redefining the K-pop landscape with hits like “Fantastic Baby” and “Bang Bang Bang,” the group’s return is among the most anticipated moments of the entire lineup. Fans have waited six years to see them take the desert stage, setting expectations at an all-time high.

Taemin brings his singular artistry

Taemin, a pioneering soloist and member of SHINee, has carved out a reputation for his sharp choreography, experimental sound, and consistently ambitious performances. His appearance marks another milestone in his career, introducing his artistry to one of the largest global festival audiences.

KATSEYE steps into the global spotlight

Completing the Korean contingent is KATSEYE, the international project group formed through the HYBE x Geffen collaboration. Coachella offers them a high-profile opportunity to showcase their wide-ranging appeal and connect with fans beyond Asia and North America.

Korean Acts in the Desert

While the festival remains dominated by Western headliners, the inclusion of BIGBANG, Taemin, and KATSEYE underscores the continued influence of Korean music on the global stage. Each brings a different story—an iconic comeback, a seasoned soloist at his peak, and a next-generation act ready for lift-off—cementing Coachella 2026 as a milestone year for Korean representation at the festival.
